The couple are already the proud parents to daughters Riley, 6, and Ryan, 3. The CoverGirl spokesperson met Curry, 29, when they were 14 and 15, attending the same church youth group. The went on to marry in 2011.
The pair’s oldest daughter made headlines when she joined her proud father for a postgame press conference in 2015, waving to reporters, hiding under the table and later telling her father to “be quiet.” The Warriors continued their winning streak and the TV personality told Time magazine “the attention has brought us closer.” She also praised her husband for not just ignoring their daughter during interviews. “I feel that the biggest thing you can do, as a parent, is to engage,” she told the magazine. “You can never be too busy for your child.”
Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Enjoying family time and remembering that Jesus is the reason for the season. Blessings!
Throughout their marriage, both the chef and the Golden State Warriors champion have been very vocal on social media about how much they adore their children. “One thing that my mom always told me was to never lose yourself inside of your marriage. I’m happy that I’ve been able to find that so-called balance and be able to pursue my passions and take care of my family,” Ayesha said during an interview with Nightline last month.
However, she has voiced that she never wants too be known as an “NBA wife.”
“I don’t think I’ll ever call myself that … I mean, I don’t think my husband would ever call himself ‘chef’s wife,’” she added. “Obviously mom and wife (come) first. Those are the two most important titles.”
