But still, the discipline it takes to slim down while recovering from a major life event is, while a personal choice, incredibly impressive!
Whether they start running and going to postpartum yoga as soon as they can or adopt new diet habits and ease back into their workouts, celebrities seem to know just how to lose pregnancy pounds quickly after they give birth.

With four kids ages 5 and under, the weight still isn’t sticking! After giving birth to son Romeo in May, the yoga teacher, 34, didn’t lead her first group class again until a December 3 event (right) — but the weight was long-since gone thanks to her at-home sessions. “I have a daily practice on my Instagram. I do these found moment workouts where, you know, being a busy mom I don’t always have time to go to the gym for a full hour. So I will do five minutes here and two minutes there and three minutes later,” she told
Us. “Those that I put on my Instagram all together can equal a full workout.”

On December 2 — barely a month after welcoming her first child, with boyfriend Norman Reedus — the German actress, 42, rocked a Versace minidress in NYC. The Pilates devotee told
Coveteur in 2017 that cooking her own meals helps her stay slim. “I feel like when you make food for yourself, there’s sort of a satisfactory thing about making good food that’s actually good for you,” she said. “Don’t deprive yourself of anything, but eat in moderation.”

First, the Danish model and actress (in a pink power suit on November 28) made headlines for welcoming her fourth child at the age of 54. Next, she garnered attention for her amazing post-baby body. “Two weeks after, I’d lost the weight,” she explained on British talk show
Loose Women on November 29, crediting a lifelong devotion to fitness. “It was so strange… and I had turned 55, I thought it’s going to be a long road ahead to kind of get your body back. Instead, it’s been pretty easy. I feel so content.”

On October 25, the actress, who also has 6-year-old son Luca, welcomed her first baby with boyfriend Matthew Koma, daughter Banks Violet. The 31-year-old took spinning classes at Cycle House throughout her pregnancy — and her efforts showed in her svelte frame on November 26 (right) just one month postpartum. As the active star told
Us in 2016, “I love to do different types of weights-based cardio, use different machines. I’m not the type to run on the treadmill forever, I like to keep it fun and change it up.”

The British actress gave birth to her second child, a daughter, with husband Daniel Craig, in late summer. At the Governor’s Awards in Hollywood on November 18 (right), the 48-year-old was already slim. Weisz takes a holistic approach to health, and has trained with Gregory Joujon-Roche, founder of a program that focuses on overall wellness as well as physical fitness.

The rapper showed off her post-baby six weeks after welcoming her daughter Kulture in July by posing nude on her now estranged husband Offset’s Instagram. The 26-year-old (on November 15, right) has a complicated relationship with her weight after baby. “I cannot stop losing weight. And it’s so crazy because when I first gave birth, I did everything to lose my baby weight,” she revealed on Instagram Live in November. “Now that I lost all the baby weight in my stomach and in my arms and in my face, now I want to gain weight, but I can’t gain weight because I have a terrible appetite.”

In July, the
Keeping Up With the Kardashians star announced she’d dropped 33 pounds since giving birth to her daughter, True, three months earlier on April 12. On her app, she credited the weight loss to a “combination of breastfeeding and being very active.” Afterward, 34-year-old went for a slow-and-steady approach to achieve her slim post-baby body (on November 14, right). As Gunnar Peterson, who has trained Kardashian over the years told Us this summer, “Khloé’s work ethic, that’s what doesn’t change. She understands that [working out] is a lifestyle.”

After welcoming her first son, Santiago, in June, the
Desperate Housewives alum told Us Weekly she eased back into workouts. “I really gave my body time to adjust to postpartum and post-pregnancy,” she told Us in December. “It created a human life, so I really wasn’t too hard about getting back into shape.” But five months later, the 43-year-old actress (on November 8, right) was back at it: “I’m working out a lot more and watching what I eat,” she noted. “I still love yoga, [but] my workouts now are more weight training.”

Seven months after welcoming her third baby, the country singer, 30, sported a bikini for a photo shoot on Miami Beach October 22. She credits the South Beach diet for helping her drop the pounds. “It’s just lots of protein and vegetables,” she explained to
Us. But she also exercises plenty. “I definitely work out like at least twice a week if I can, hardcore. Three times if I have the time,” she told Us in September. “But you know I’m lifting 40-, 50-pound bodies every single day, so it is a workout and I am chasing after [my kids] all the time.”

Cravings: Hungry for More cookbook author welcomed her son, Miles, in May. And while she’s been open about stretch marks and other post-baby body realities on her Instagram, she still managed to drop the extra pounds quickly. The 33-year-old star, who also shares 2-year-old daughter, Luna, with husband John Legend, flashed her enviably toned legs in NYC on October 13. During her pregnancy, she joked that she wasn’t going to get in shape afterward: “I think I want to have another baby after this and then get hot,” she told Us in March.

Dancing With the Stars pro, 42, gave birth to twins less than five months earlier. But the dancer, married to Robert Herjavec, was determined to stay physically strong during pregnancy. Because she couldn’t do much cardio, she told Us in January that she was focusing on “stabilization work, like glute exercises on all fours, that are good for the core too. I’m trying to stay toned!”
